Snow fort fightThis is our yard Friday morning. The kids and I (well mostly me) made a snow fort. It became a perfect spot to launch snowballs from. The trees you see are "leftover" Christmas trees - ours and our tenants. They have been great play structures throughout the winter.

We awoke yet again to a winter wonderland. Only thing is in April it's not so wonderful. Then the beauty of bare trees, snow and sky takes your breath away. And the warmth in the morning sunrise stirs your hope. The robins are singing, spring is still coming.

This morning the kids & I spent our bible time in Mark remembering Jesus' entry into Jerusalem at the beginning of Passover. We recalled why the Isrealites celebrated Passover, discussed what it means to sacrifice. And thought about Jesus as our Passover Lamb. Pretty heavy stuff... Then we prayed. Immediately ...
