The Road to Durango

The Road to Durango

Our stay in Durango was short and beautiful, involved meeting an interesting family and staying with generous hosts, and included an invigorating hike with knowledgeable, wise, and inspirational companions.

Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods

Landing in Berkeley California

Landing in Berkeley California

Life feels like a gauntlet sometimes of decisions and relationship stresses, social commitments, text notifications, and traffic. I just need a break. Appalachian Trail & Adventure Journaling at Outsideways

Appalachian Trail & Adventure Journaling at Outsideways

While we were hiking I kept a trail journal. I wrote it in almost every day. I recorded our mileage, where we camped and notable points along the trail. I wrote about the people we met. I wrote my thoughts, feelings and frustrations. I wrote the good stuff and the bad stuff. In short form, I wrote about my brutiful experience on the Appalachian Trail. I'm now publishing that journal and my favorite photos of our hike at Outsideways.
