Why we have children

Have you heard the latest news? Angelina has adopted another child. I read about it on the cover of People Magazine today while in the grocery store.

When I got back to the car, where my family was waiting, I proceeded to tell Damien about the news. We agreed that if we didn't have any financial constraints with regards to feeding, housing, clothing and transporting our children to Canada to visit family we'd love to adopt multiple children from other countries.

Laurent, who together with his sisters has recently taken on more household responsibilities (ie: chores), piped up from the backseat "yeah and all those kids would just make your work go faster".

Hum... something to consider. Afterall, why else do we have kids except to make them do chores!
