I forgot to mention my favorite time of the day yesterday was at 2pm when The Vinyl Cafe was broadcast on our local public broadcasting station. Yay for CBC! Yay for NPR! Nothing like listening to an hour of Stuart McLean to make me miss Canada in a way I haven't felt for years.

Stuart McLean is an easterner. Also, I didn't say I missed Alberta. I said Canada : ) But Alberta isn't really that bad, what with the free health care and all (see my earlier Sicko post).

I'm looking forward to watching Stuart McLean on CBC tomorrow (Tuesday) night, 7:30 Eastern time. He's such a gifted story teller - truly a Canadian literary icon.
