Technology - who needs it? I'd rather be in the woods

I'm choosing to end this day on a good note, remembering our afternoon in the winter woods.

Technology can sure be frustrating some days. I'm spoiled because I'm married to a technical wizard so my standards are kind of high, but sometimes even he can't fix my problem. Tonight's problem was related to new photo software we installed on the computer this weekend. I love the software but I deleted some photos tonight by accident, recovered them from trash but upon re-importing them lost all my metadata & processing, grrr.... (Though that shouldn't happen according to the software support information. Figures.)

I had already post-processed a bunch of photos and then losing those changes is frustrating. Oh well. Get over it. It could be a lot worse. Like a year's worth of photos lost or some other equally horrific mistake. It's kind of scary how attached I've become to these digital files.

Anyway, we had a wonderful afternoon hiking in the woods today. I had exported these photos before my little snafu so I have a few to share with you.

Now I'm off to bed with the contented memories of my family playing in the snow for 3 hours and then having supper out and family game night. Sweet times.

Ok, speaking of frustrating..not related to computers..My LLBean kid snowshoes are cracking (the plastic part)!! I've actually been having computer problems lately with pictures and I know how very frustrating it is. What program are you using?

I linked to it in the post. Bibble 5 Pro. LL Bean has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Call customer service they'll take them back, but of course then you're without snowshoes - bummer!
