I'm not meaning to jump the gun on spring here. I'm still very much in the season and I'm loving the new green and emerging blossoms very much. But we all know that what grows in summer is planted in spring and if you want to have herbs on hand for your family's needs during the high activity (read: lots of scratchs, bruises and cuts) of summer you need to think now about what to plant.

So to help you out I'm directing you to a post I wrote last year, Easy Recommendations for the Home Herbalist. I've revised and updated some of the information and feel it is a good read for someone new to herbs, especially for skin care.
