December at the Farm

birds nest in apple tree

Still no snow but at least it's cold enough to feel like winter. Today was December's farm pick up. Lots of good veggies but the scenery was what really captured me today.

The beauty of a nearly-winter late afternoon is simply breathtaking.

PS. After publishing I changed the order of the photos to feature the bird's nest more prominently because I really do love that photo also.

    Lovely photos, Renee!

Our landscape up here finally looks the way it was, I'm sure, created to look--white! Love these peaceful first days of winter.

Beautiful photos Renée. Hopefully you will get some fluffy white snow before Christmas! By the way, thanks for the link reference on Small Notebook the other day. :o)

You're welcome! I love you idea.

PS. What keystroke do you use to accent my name? In truth, my own name is not accented (my parents aren't french) but Celine's name is. I keep forgetting how to type it.

Well, thelongthread.com's idea actually, but I'm glad you like it!

To type accents I use ALT plus a number code. This seems to work no matter which software or computer I am using. To get é hold down the ALT key and type 130 on the number pad. (I can't remember how to do it on a laptop with no number pad??)

        The other french ones are: à = ALT+133 ç = ALT+135 ê = ALT+136 è = ALT+138

Alors, maintenant tu peux écrire "Céline" comme il faut!

The way your family experiences nature throughout the year is so inspiring. And I am totally jealous (and happy for you) that you get farm pick ups in December!

We've got plenty of snow - wish I could send you some, or bring some in person!
