Saturday Inspiration
October 27, 2012
I'm at Allume right now. I had thought I might write while here. That's not happening. There is just way too much going on in real life.
I'm having the time of my life. I have met so many beautiful women. My anxieties were completely unfounded (hint: anxiety usually is) and I felt at home from the first moment I got here. We're women, we love to blog. These are my people.
No hiking for me this weekend and I've been in hotel conference rooms for hours and hours. But it's ok. Because I'm soaking in so much wisdom, inspiration and encouragement. And meeting such wonderful women. Inspiration of a different kind.

I kinda chuckled when I read your fears about this trip since I knew they'd dissolve within a few minutes of being with all those great women who will bless you, and you'll bless in return with your various and multiple gifts! enjoy your time there~~

Glad to hear that your anxieties were unfounded. Aren't they always? Enjoy the adventure! Chat until the wee hours soaking up their wisdom while they soak up yours.

Girl...here I am and I am going to comment this time. It was so completely wonderful meeting you and talking a little homeschool. You continue to inspire me every day and I look forward to more mentoring from you and your writing. Thank you so much for all the help you gave me. Your words at our meal really helped this homeschool mama and confirmed I am doing okay in this scary second year of ruining my children! :) I will keep on commenting now instead of stalking blog posts and keeping quiet. You are special to my heart now...

as a fellow Christian, wife, mother, homeschooling parent, straight forward talker, take me as I am woman...I would like to say thank you for sharing. When I clicked on the Allume information here on your site, I realized how close to my home you were...2 hours away to be exact!
Just reading a bit about the sessions, I am inspired, encouraged and filled with a new purpose of where my blog/writing should go.
Thank you so much, once again, for your honesty and for sharing so openly, as you always do. I have spent quite a bit reading your past posts :)

Maria, if you have the chance to go to Allume in the future - I highly recommend it. I will be talking about it a bit on the blog, but not too much. It was fantastic! I can't even begin to describe it. Still processing all the wonderfulness that was the last three days.
