The kids have been taking photos this month of life as they see it. And of course I've been taking photos (that goes without question).
Here's some random shots from the past couple weeks - scenes from my parent's property. The kids took some of these and I took a few. Nothing jaw-dropping spectacular about any of these photos but they're fun.

that white camp trailer in the back is where Damien and I sleep

Tell them they took wonderful pictures!!! The perspective is FABULOUS too! I think that is my favorite art of my kids pictures, how simple and lovely they are. I love to see other parents encouraging their kids to take pictures. I have been amazed at some of the pictures my kids have taken and love that they share a love of photography with me!

I love this! I love that you have included the kids in searching for the beauty around them. I need to do more of that! Now I'm off to check out your camera section :)

My kids seem hard wired to notice the beauty around them (I think we all are, if we open ourselves up to that). They are forever exclaiming and calling me to see what catches their eye "mommy, come see this!" Giving them a camera is sometimes just easier for me so I'm not always running around to see what they've noticed (smile). Instead they just bring me the camera when they are done to give me a digital tour of their journeys. I'm a beauty seeker and I think some of that has rubbed off on the kids (smile). I love it too!
