Last farm day

Today was the last work share day at the farm and the last summer share weekly pick up. I'm glad to be done my weekly obligation but I'll miss the fresh air and "whatever nature sends" aspect of being at the farm every week. Having a work share also affords my children the once a week chance to play at an honest to goodness working farm. You know the kind with manure piles, mud puddles, chickens, barn kittens, horses and all kinds of secret play spaces. The chance to get outside and get dirty.
