Hard drive crash

I am very sad to say that my hard drive crashed this weekend. I'm posting this blog using Damien's computer. I will have limited access to a computer for the next week or so as we figure this out and I guess get a new hard drive. Damien is busy moving all my files, our photos and music off my computer onto his. Of course this is a real bummer.

I had so many photos and and interesting life stuff to post about - oh well, here's the brief update. Spring is here and we've been out hiking and going to see maple syrup being made (that was just yesterday on Maine Maple Sunday). Damien and I went to the Gala dance at Bates on Saturday, and what a bash that was. Decorated to the nines in a Monte Carlo casino theme complete with dice ice sculptures. Fantastic food and 2 bands and dance floors. A big band and a raggae band playing simultaneously in 2 separate venues in the same large building. Oh my goodness, we had so much fun. And I wish I could post our photo. Our sitter took it for us before we went out - I don't remember the last time I looked so good - maybe Mel's wedding?? Last Saturday I also spent the day at Hedgehog Hill working in the green house planting seedlings - ah, that was like a balm for my winter weary soul. Next to our house, on the south-west side I have a least 100 bulbs poking up through the mulch. I'm so excited to see what flowers are going to bloom there in the next couple weeks.

Spring is coming and I'm ready for it!

Hopefully I can post some photos soon...
