This morning I was explaining to Laurent why I couldn't go outside yet; I had lots of clean up to do, dishes to wash, laundry etc...

His response was "You deserve it by being a mother"

I had to laugh! I didn't take it too personally as he didn't say with an attitude. And the kiddos do a fair share of the household chores but yikes that was pretty cheeky of him.
