We have gained so much from being members of our homeschool co-op; a social life and friends, academic experience, and participation in the yearly drama production - an all-hands-on-deck community endeavor.

When I think about how many problems exist in the world and all the ways in which we need to heal, restore, repair, bring peace and justice to our neighborhoods and society, I look at the capabilities of this group of dedicated and Christ-inspired families and I have hope that change is possible.

Our homeschool community had a Prom this spring. Our beautiful, teenaged and young adult kids in fancy clothes, being feted and photographed by their grey-tinged, a wee bit wrinkled, camera-happy, tired but proud parents.

The warmth of May

Spring re-orients our linear experience of life (birth, growth, death) to the circular rhythm of the natural world. And in spring I'm reminded that I'm smack dab in the middle of the growing time, a season of life bursting at the seams with creativity and activity.
