I'm missing my camera these days. Not terribly mind you (there is so much going on in our home this week I'm glad to not have the extra distraction) but enough that I'm playing around with our little video camera. Which is kind of a cute little number that let's us do crazy stuff like go underwater and take it sledding downhill.
So of course I had to do that this week when the kids and I went sledding in the first significant snowfall this year.
It's just a short video that features mostly... me (ironically enough). Apologies to the grandparents but hey, a mama's gotta have her time in the spotlight also.
oh thank you! such a wonderful flash from my past. how i miss the snow. i wish i could visit.
Awesome :)
That's hilarious, Renee. We're too sick to get out and enjoy the snow but looking forward to a cross country ski trip when we're over our colds. You have an awesome hill there!
That is a great hill for sledding. The ride down is always worth the long walk up the hill.
Looks like fun! We've got a sledding hill you guys would probably like here in our town. It's called Derby Hill because it's tarred and there are derby car races on it in the summer, but lots of people use it for sledding in the winter. We're actually having friends over for a sledding party sometime this week and hope to bring all the kids over there!
That's great! I loved it.
Wow, looks like a lot of fun. We got a little snow this last time and the kids made a huge snow "troll" but not enough to sled on. That is probably the only good thing about snow in my opinion. Sledding. Oh, and it's beautiful! :0)
Great video! I'm from Alberta, and I'd say that you did get a significant amount of snow! Enjoy it while you can! :)
Heather, I grew up in AB and this is why I like Maine. It gets cold here (not like AB though) but there's snow. Winter without heaps of snow is just blah. Here winter is a snow celebration!
I wonder whether I should pretend that my camera was broken too, so that I could learn to use our little video camera! :)
oh you totally made my morning! thank you!!!!
