These pictures remind me so much of the year we lived in Marquette, MI (the upper peninsula). Although it's beautiful, I don't miss that much snow.

It's gray, wet and soggy here....but snowing on the mountain, which is good since we have a snowshoeing event planned for tomorrow.

70 degrees, blue skies, calm. Pretty typical for March in Tucson! We are enjoying our prime time of year weather-wise, getting outside as much as possible before the heat arrives in May. We've only seen the snow once this winter (on a day trip to one of the mountain ranges that surround us). Having grown up in the northeastern U.S., I do miss a more proper winter sometimes but every place has its pros and cons as far as weather. Thanks for sharing so many beautiful images of your winter wonderland!

Living in So. California, I cannot even image living in all that snow! I think it would be fun for a while, but I'm not sure I could take it every year! It does look lovely, though!

Renee, I know you have a tiny place, but if you would like a visit for the weekend from a family of four, we would be happy to oblige. ;) Looks like there is plenty of fun to be had. We stopped along the side of the road and let Axel (3 years old) play in a tiny patch of snow. He thought it was the coolest thing. Spending time in your back yard would blow his little mind.

I was wondering where all our snow went this year... apparently you got it! :) The ground is actually covered here for the first time in several weeks, but with rain tomorrow I think we'll be back to half grass again. We didn't even get enough snow to build tunnels and forts this year! But I am ready for spring now...first comes mud season thought- I'm going to buy some cute mud boots next week :)

Down here in the Southern hemisphere we are just tilting into Autumn.....we have had a ghastly Summer here, rain, cold and wind. Our fire is on for the 5th time this year! I am not at already for the turning inwards that comes with Autumn but body is still open and waiting for lazy days in the sun at the beach. I know, I need to let it go!

Here in my part of Minnesota we had our first major snowfall on Leap Day--a real bonus day for the kids who had school cancelled. Did get some nice photos of the ice covered trees as their branches made music.

Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say you have done a very good job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Safari. Superb Blog! get pregnant
