Hum... I thought that I'd have more people interested in participating in the sharing the season mr. linky that I posted last Friday. I even gave a whole week lead time and a whole week to join in. I guess everyone's too busy with the season to share their ideas. Although almost all the blogs I regularly read (see NIMBY on front page side bar) posted this week about what they were doing, or not doing, this year to simplify the holidays or add meaning to their celebrations, or something like that. I'm glad to see lots of folks are into the true spirit of the season.
But I really appreciate those of you (kristina, Shawna, Karen & Casey) who did leave your link last week. To say thanks I'm sending each of you a bar of my homemade Orange Clove Pomander soap (e-mail me your address).
It's giveaway season these days in the blog world. And you'll never guess what. I just won a blog giveaway this week over at Shutter Sisters. A copy of the amazing (from the reviews I've read) Ordinary Sparkling Moments. I am so excited! A late birthday present, early Christmas present.

this photo is my favorite tree one so far! it's a neat perspective and i like the way the light is cast from that bulb. nice work.

Without your mr.linky prompt I might not have yet been in the Christmas spirit. Thanks so much for letting us all be winners! Happy for you to be on the receiving end too. Looks like a book you'll really enjoy.

Oops! I meant to do your Mr. Linky. Sorry! However, it looks like we'll be restricted to unscented Dr. Bronners for a while anyhow. Your soap sounds delicious!
