A video about my book borrowing process and book record keeping

So you’ve probably noticed I’m publishing more videos these days, and popping in here more often to tell you about those videos.
Video is a creative edge and form of memoirist story telling I’d like to explore and so you can expect to see more of it here, at least until my video aspirations collide with my grad school schedule come fall! I.e.: I’m not sure what kind of video creation will be sustainable with my paid work, school, writing, homemaking, and relationship tending.
I’ll figure that out later. I’m not going to not do something now because I’m not sure how it will fit into my life in 2 months.
All that to say… I just uploaded another video to YouTube. Not one of my more produced ones but a social media “style” video. The kind you’d post to Instagram, which I will be attempting to do also.

I was so enthused by my book haul from the local library that I felt inspired to make a video about my book process:
- how I find books to read
- how I keep track of what I want to read
- how I access books (mostly the library reserve), and
- how I record what I have read
As I say in this video, I don’t read a lot of non-fiction, outside of my academic interests and research, but I do appreciate and read reference materials, eg: gardening books.
