Laurent is our out-going child. Brienne may be this way but it's hard to tell at this age. Laurent loves to talk to people, friends we know or strangers, it doesn't matter Laurent wants to talk. Whether we meet them at the park or they are replacing our neighbors roof Laurent always find someone to talk to. Today it was the construction workers next door. Tomorrow morning he will yell "hi" out the window at the trash collectors. Laurent likes to talk about anything - his toys, the cat, what he did last week, where his Daddy works, where we are going for Christmas.
Some of Laurent's other interests right now:
*Tools. Damien gave him a little piece of 1x4 and Laurent's been practicing screwing screws in and out. Now he wants a real hammer.
*Drawing and writing. Laurent has always had a keen interest in creating with pen, pencil, crayons and paper. Now he wants to write letters and his pictures are as creative as ever. His favorite things to draw are animals and people.
*Making music. Laurent loves music, he loves to dance and worship. He's a real mover and shaker. We have a few little instruments including maracas and keyboards. He loves to plunk out a tune and sing a song to go with it.
