It Still Snows

It snowed again this week. Two big dumps of the white stuff.

The storm yesterday was huge. I haven't had time to process the photos from that snow fall but fabulous stuff I tell you. Fabulous.

For a family that works at home, doesn't clear their own driveway and looks for any and all opportunities to go skiing, all this snow makes for the best winter ever.

I think we're the only place in North America that's actually experienced winter this year, though according to the locals it has been a farily mild one.

For other folk, spring might be around the corner but where we are it is winter still and this makes us very happy.

Wonderful! We actually got some snow yesterday. Looks like a few incehs. No matter, we'll take it too. We are itching to get our snowshoes on this winter.

jealous!!! We moved to the Portland, Maine area in August and have anticipated a blissfully white winter - but it has been so very mild here!!! ugh! I'm living vicariously through you! :) Beautiful pictures!!

Welcome to winter in Quebec! I live along the banks of the St. Lawrence and I never expect spring to settle in before early April, and even then we usually get at least one good snowstorm after that...

I can't tell you how jealous I am! Winter is my favorite season and we have, as you said, had nothing of the kind this year. I live in Arkansas and winters are usually far too mild for my taste anyway, but this year, it's been beyond pathetic. Last Friday, in FEBRUARY, it was 85 degrees. That is just plain WRONG! On the plus side, my heating bill is really low. On the negative side, it looks like we may be turning our a/c on in March. I am not a heat lover by any stretch of the imagination, so in general I don't enjoy the climate in this state. Sigh...I'd give anything to be able to ski as often as your family does!
