Help, I'm bookless..

Somewhere in the transition from spring to summer I finished up the books I was reading and started to tire of the "how to do house church", "defining the emerging church" and "living a disciplined Christian life" type books I was reading. I now find myself with no good books on the go. This is a sad state to be in. I'm desperate. Hoping to make it to the library sometime this week to prowl through the stacks hoping to find a treasure. Any light reading recommendations??

Sometimes it is a good idea to put the books and serious learning aside and just relax. Let your mind wander a little, have some old fashioned 'fun'. Time for 'recess' in your school of life. Give yourself some time for mulling over what you have read and learned, and assimilating it into your life somehow. Reconnect with your family and loved ones in areas where books might have separated you from them. When you are ready to learn something new, you will have no trouble at all finding the books to teach you new stuff.

I agree mom. I'm actually looking for summer escape type reading, nothing heavy or too intellectual. I get very antsy when I'm not reading anything. Reading is one of the few things I will let myself sit down and do. When I'm not reading anything I don't sit and relax much. I'm actually trying to have a recess : )
