Happy Birthday Mom!

Thank you for the birthday wish, Renee. And thank you, Damien for remembering to phone me on my birthday. I enjoyed talking with you, and look forward to seeing you soon. I had some wonderful birthday celebrations with Becky and Zoltan and Ja-ira (they came down the weekend before my birthday and we went out to have a special Greek dinner (prepared by a wonderful Greek Chef). The following weekend, Melanie and Kelly came down to celebrate my real birthday date and (we also went out with them and enjoyed a special dinner at "The Black Stump", a fine local restaurant.) Melanie made a special birthday cake of strawberries and whipped cream (Kelly and I share the same favorite birthday cake choice). We spent an entertaining evening sitting around our campfire (we have a new fire pit with real bricks, and burned citronella mosquito flares like in the movie, "Survivors",) and visiting with the neighbour and his 17 year old son.
