Cafe Time

This morning the kids & I were running errands and we stopped at Staples which is in the same complex as a book store/cafe. I decided it might be fun to have a little snack in the cafe. The kids and I ordered a cinnamon roll and and a cinnamon scone - both delicious. They helped me figure out how to divide the pastries into 4 equal pieces for all of us to share. While we were waiting for the treats to be heated we discovered a Memory game for cafe patrons to play.

After we finished our danishes, which were very fun to eat as we don't have them at home, we played a game of memory together. Celine and Laurent did really well and Brienne played with extra cards that we weren't using. I loved every minute of it! Spending true quality time, which really only comes out of quantity time, with the 3 people (excluding their daddy) I love most in the world. Life doesn't get much better than this. We stepped out of our daily routine and into relaxed mode. It was great for me to do this outside of our home because at home I always see things that need to be done and have a hard time relaxing to play a game. It was such an enjoyable experience I just had to share it and also recommend it.
