A hike in the woods

The kids & I took an impromptu hike yesterday. The day was simply too gorgeous to pass up. The path was a new find for us and we were delighted by the autumn woods, the river seen through the trees, an old cemetery and even a little waterfall. All just 5 minutes from our home.
