I have a few more photos to share of Céline's birthday trip.

Céline and I drove from our home in Québec to meet my mom in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Fredericton is a treasure of a city and was an equidistant location for us to meet up with my mom.

If you go:
I realize not many of my readers live in the Canadian maritimes but in case you do, or ever visit this area here's a few things to check out.

We stayed at Brennan's Bed & Breakfast, on Waterloo Row, overlooking the Saint John River. The house and rooms were gorgeous. The breakfast delicious and indulgent. A high recommend all around.

Fredericton has some nice restaurants, a great little tea place in a hip urban outfitter type store, a nice downtown craft co-operative (spent a lot of time there), and a well stocked little health food store. We enjoyed a delicious (and healthy) lunch at the organic and vegetarian bistro Nirvana.

Fredericton also has the largest used book store I've ever been in, the Owl's Nest. The three of us are all book lovers and readers and we had to drag ourselves out of there.

The best part of the trip though was just being together and celebrating this beautiful girl.
