Laurent's room reno

My parents left this morning after spending the last week with us. Whew, it was a wonderful and busy time. I've been slowly getting my life and house back in order today. Will be a few more days before all the cleaning and tidying is done.
While my parents were here my Dad tackled painting Laurent's room. Somehow he managed to squeeze this project in between the week's other activities of celebrating Thanksgiving, going on a hike, gathering with other believers (a couple times), misc. shopping trips and finally celebrating Brienne's birthday yesterday. THANKS Dad!
We've lived here 2.5 years and a year or so ago I got impatient with the wallpaper and ripped it all off and the ugly walls have stared at Laurent and all our guests ever since. I am so pleased with the results of Dad's painting. A few final touches include a new ceiling fan/light to replace the light fixture and hooks on the walls for Laurent's "stuff" or guest's towels. I'm already looking forward to my parents next visit in the New Year when the kitchen will be painted!

I never saw the paper from before- man, no wonder you ripped it off! That could cause bad dreams. :) Go Dad Tougas! Nice job!

The reno looks so good. Much better than the psychedelic wallpaper that was there before. Looks much more like a boy's room now. I love the hardwood floor too! Lucky you.
