Brienne, is not so much of a baby anymore, as you will all see for yourself at Christmas. But she's still the baby of the family. This is what she's been up to lately:
*Talking on the phone. Brienne loves to talk on the phone. Her and Laurent will talk back and forth in separate rooms of the house. She answers the phone "heh woah" it's too cute!
*Playing pretend kitchen. The kids have a little pretend kitchen and Brienne loves to make soup. She uses water, pours the water, dumps the water, stirs the water and serves it nice and "haw". Her other favorite culinary creation is "ice sream" which she makes in a similar fashion.
*Speaking. Brienne is starting to say a lot more words, the challenge is figuring them out. She likes to provide commentary on the kitty's actions and whereabouts. She is playing more with "Seen" and "Rah" all the time. This week she pointed out the "brapee" (broccoli) on the pizza.
*Writing, on everything. Brienne writes on walls, furniture, floors, carpets, herself, the cat! She is our artist on-the-residence. So far, I have 2 repainting projects thanks to her.
*Still nursing. I was trying to wean her to naptime nursing but she had different ideas. She doesn't have a soother, nor does she suck her fingers so if she is frustrated, tired or needs loving reassurance (like after we discipline her) she asks for "nigh-nigh" (night-night). This is because I used to tell her we were going night-night and then nursed to sleep her so she's made that connection.
