Had a great birthday celebration yesterday. Enjoyed a pub supper at Gritty's . And then proceeded (quite fittingly) to watch Walk the Line, the movie about Johnny Cash. An awesome movie and had me researching about Cash online last night. The movie doesn't talk about his Christianity, except as a child. Now I want to go out and buy some Cash music. Can't stop your toes from tapping during that movie. Melanie, if you like 50's & 60's music (I didn't know this before) you'd like lots of the music scenes with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis etc...

This morning Damien and I did a little Christmas shopping (will it ever end??) and left the kids with friends. My friend is an artisan jewelry maker and when we came to pick up the kids they presented me with wrapped presents - jewelery they made for me for my birthday! In this photo (Celine took photo) I'm wearing the earrings Celine helped make. Damien gave me the fleece. Many thanks to those who sent their Birthday greetings I feel very honored & loved.
