laundry back on the line</span>
We sometimes sing the Hank Williams song I Saw the Light in our home church gatherings.
I saw the light, I saw the light. No more darkness; no more night. Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight. Praise the Lord, I saw the light!
I love belting out this tune while our friend Bob strums his guitar and since yesterday morning it, and every other "sun" song I know have been in my head. (If you want a good chuckle - don't get me wrong I LOVE Johnny Cash but those 70's choir gown back up singers are a hoot - check out this video version of the song.)
Here's my photographic ode to I Saw the Light, Here Comes the Sun, Sunny Days and every other sun song known to man, because baby the sun has finally decided to shine!!
Maybe the sun decided to shine because I started the day wearing my new sunflower pendant handcrafted by Laurent.

Oh, the light indeed.
Lovely pictures. My weekend posts always focus on "in this moment" and yesterday I was taken by light in so many forms from the week's pictures.
We're singing songs of gratitude over here these days. With a little Johnny Appleseed blessing thrown in and a little Jack Johnson, because the phrase "I wanna be where the talk of the town is about last night when the sun went down" seems to fit our sunset-driven summer living so perfectly.
Oh your peas are right where mine are. Beautiful garden and sunshine pics.
