Hey family, haven't heard much from Becky/Zoltan or Melanie/Kelly lately. What are you guys up to? How's the new house?
It's a windy November day here but very sunny and not snowing. Tonight we are going to home depot to pick paint for our living room. We finished the last of the prep work this weekend - plaster patching, sanding, wallpaper removal & priming. We are choosing a green color. We've ordered a new digital camera so this weekend we should be able to take a photo of our newly painted living room. It's going to be such a nice change from the way it was when we bought it. It's so much fun doing this kind of work on your own house - we are really enjoying it.

It was 15 below this morning when I came off work. But we still only have a light dusting of snow here and there. During the day it's still pretty nice outside for walking and stuff. I really hope we don't get snow for a while because I like walking outside when it is crisp and not slippery.
I can't wait to see the new look of your living room. What shade of green are you doing? I am sure it will be lovely. We are painting our living room too. Also the kitchen, diningroom, front entrance and upstairs hallway. We have chosen three shades of taupe, which is a mushoom beige, sort of. Pretty much the same colours as the exterior of the house. I can't wait to get started and am hoping some of it will be done for Christmas. The high ceilings in the livingroom have us a bit nervous, though, so we are hoping for some 'volunteers' to help with that part. The diningroom will be the darkest shade, the livingroom and front entrance and kitchen will be a lighter shade and the hallway will be the lightest shade, all of the same colour. We will paint the kitchen table and end tables in the kitchen/family room a contrasting dark shade of the same colour. I am quite excited about it. Dad is waiting for the first big snow before we start. He says that he wants to do it when we can't go outside for entertainment any more.
