Going all the way

We decided to remove the paneling. We want to thoroughly complete the room - refinish the baseboards, add window molding (they had cheap plastic molding on top of the paneling), change the fixtures etc. and eventually we'll refinish the floors. I'm still removing the wallpaper, it comes off easily just need to spend the time doing it. Here's a picture of the section that Damien removed this Sunday. I've got to add I'm so impressed with my husband. This our first home and he is so great at working on it and taking care of it - thanks Dear!

The wall behind the back of the futon is where the wallpaper was. Lime green & pink. I think the pink was where a wall mirror hung and they just painted around it many years ago....
