Aquarium trip

Turtle top of Ocean Tank Damien's reflection in Giant Ocean Tank Jellyfish Seadragons & seahorses

Yesterday we finally went to the aquarium. Damien especially has wanted to visit an aquarium since we moved to the east coast almost 6 years ago. Early this year we set our minds to going and yesterday we made the trip to Boston to visit the New England Aquarium.

It's a nice aquarium and the whole family enjoyed our time there immensely. There was so many people though and that was kind of tiring. My favorite part was the The Giant Ocean Tank and the Top of The Giant Ocean Tank . The sea turtles were a favorite of the kids and myself. The animals are all just so amazing, diverse and beautiful. I was in awe of God's creation.

3 hours was about all we could handle. Then we ventured into the gift store where the children each chose and paid for a memento with money from their savings accounts.

Then we walked a few blocks to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Hall for supper. I love downtown Boston - all the Irish pubs, old buildings and brick roads. The weather yesterday was beautiful. About 55F, felt like a warm spring day. Made walking downtown very pleasant.

We left the city outskirts by 8:30 after a quick stop at REI, the american equivalent of MEC. We were home by 10:30, thoroughly exhausted but with lots of memories of a wonderful day.

Love the pictures. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Lot's to learn too. Sea turtles are one of my favourite too. I still remember seeing them in the ocean when we went to Hawaii. They were so big and majestic and when you think how old they can grow to be.....Wow!
