Thorncrag

I'm proud of myself for getting outdoors with the kids these past 2 weekends in spite of Damien's absence. He's the one who packs our gear and generally gets us out the door. Whereas my tendency is to putter away the day, trying to get "things accomplished".

Today's hike was at Thorncrag, a local bird sanctuary and 310 acre preserve right in the middle of our city. It was great to be out on this cool fall day - thanks Damien for motivating our family and keeping us active. You've set the standard so even when you're gone I'm encouraged to go out and spend our usual Sunday in the woods together as a family.
