Not enough snow to ski...yet

It's been snowing on and off for the last week.

I woke up today, my birthday morning, to more snow in the sky and on the ground. We do love snow around these parts. It was a welcome birthday present.

The ski hill where we live opens in two weeks. It seems that there won't be enough snow by that time to actually ski but we're hoping.

    First off, Happy Birthday, Renee. And I think having snow would be delightful. We haven't had hardly any for the last several years and I do miss it. But we're not really prepared for it here in the Ozarks the way you guys are there, so it's not usually a welcome event when it happens. It would be nice to be able to appreciate the beauty of it without the extraordinary hassle it usually brings. Enjoy it!

    Happy birthday,Renee! My birthday is Nov 6th and even though I get tired of the snow after long winter I have always enjoyed the rare snow day on my birthday. It's like God is saying a special hello ;)
