May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

... and sparkly too!

Yesterday afternoon we arrived safely in the GTA (greater Toronto area) after a 4:30am departure and a steady twelve hours on the road (no, we didn't hike, these photos are from last weekend's hike).

We're happy to be here for our ten day Christmas holiday with both our families. First Damien's and then mine. It just so happens my brother and one of Damien's brothers live one hour away from each other even though we all grew up in Alberta, Canada - how cool is that.

I have already lost track of what day it is as we shift into vacation mode and get ready for our Christmas Eve celebrations (in both our families gifts are exchanged on Christmas Eve).

These days are indeed merry and bright and we are so blessed to have this time with family, whom we don't see often enough.

A very Merry Christmas to you (if you celebrate) and if not Happy Winter and end of 2010.

Love, Renee

They certainly are some beautiful photos! I always love seeing your work.

Like you, I'm blessed in that both my family and my wife live close to each other (about 2 miles). It's easy to plan a trip to visit everyone, as long as we are good with our time management.

    Merry Christmas!

I love that picture of your boy walking through the woods. Awesome!! I also really love the very last ice picture. You have an amazing talent for capturing the beauty.

Merry Christmas! Hope you had a wonderful evening and everyone loved those fantastic gifts you made. I sneaked out of a big family party to just have a moment and wish my friends and very Merry Christmas!

Beautiful photos. A Christmas with family makes the twelve hour car drive worth it. Living in the GTA also, we are hoping for a little snow in this neck of the woods so a certain little boy I know can get out on his new snowboard. Merry Christmas!
