Celine has been the main mastermind behind these three castles. She first built one for herself and then gifted castles to Brienne and Laurent for their birthdays. Now all the children have their own castle and sundry lords, ladies, stewards, ladies-in-waiting, scullery maids, peasants, carts, stock, banquet food, fields (alternating strips of green felt), stables etc.

My children would rather make toys then buy them. Well, two of them for sure. Brienne who is eight years old and has always embraced a "more is better" philosophy about life is still drawn to store bought toys but with a tempered "I'd like to try making that" enthusiasm.
