30th

Had a great birthday celebration yesterday. Enjoyed a pub supper at Gritty's . And then proceeded (quite fittingly) to watch Walk the Line, the movie about Johnny Cash. An awesome movie and had me researching about Cash online last night. The movie doesn't talk about his Christianity, except as a child. Now I want to go out and buy some Cash music. Can't stop your toes from tapping during that movie. Melanie, if you like 50's & 60's music (I didn't know this before) you'd like lots of the music scenes with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis etc...

Renee's birthdayThis morning Damien and I did a little Christmas shopping (will it ever end??) and left the kids with friends. My friend is an artisan jewelry maker and when we came to pick up the kids they presented me with wrapped presents - jewelery they made for me for my birthday! In this photo (Celine took photo) I'm wearing the earrings Celine helped make. Damien gave me the fleece. Many thanks to those who sent their Birthday greetings I feel very honored & loved.

    Happy Birthday Renee. I can't believe it is your 30th, I am getting there soon too. I am glad you had such a good birthday. I was thinking of you yesterday. The movie sounds good. I actually like some of Johnny Cash's songs, I think it was Zoltan that introduced me to his music. Thanks for letting us know what you did for your birthday.

    Happy Birthday Renee;

    Sounds like you had fun. We want to see that movie too. Dad read the book on Johnny Cash so he really wants to see the movie too. Wishing you all the best life has to offer in your 30th year. In 2006 I will be twice as old as you, yes, the big 60!

    Love MOM T.

    Sorry it is a little late. It sounds like you had a good birthday. We want to see the Johnny Cash movie also. I grew up listening to his country music...I still like it. Now I just have to get Lauren to like it!
