I believe in the magic of making - secrets and hidden surprises (covering the drying rack with a blanket and building plastic bin walls for crafting privacy in our small living space).
I believe in the magic of snow. Lots of snow! Snow to ski and snow to play. And a snow blower that clears our drive, now that's magic!

I believe in the magic of stories, in listening to Tim Curry read A Christmas Carol. And discovering Sparkle Stories after finding coupons at both SouleMama and Simple Homeschool.
I believe in the magic of melting oils and beeswax. The alchemy of wholesome skin care, prepared in a kitchen cook pot.
I believe in the magic of Tintin. Books our children love to read over and over and over again.
I believe in the magic of early to bed, early to rise. Crystalline mornings and moonlight spilled over snowy fields. To sit still and quiet as the sun rises, drinking my coffee and writing my heart.
I believe in the magic of dreams coming true - skis! After years of dreaming, planning and then purchasing our family is outfitted for skiing. Merry Christmas indeed.

I believe in the magic of icicles hanging from the eaves and packed snow thundering off the metal roof on a warm December day.
I believe in the magic of Monday morning UNO, played in your pj's with your best bud/brother.
I believe in the magic of fabric and floss; felt and fashion. The busy hands of a creative young woman.
I believe in the magic of darkening days, to sit a few days longer in that discomfort and disquiet before the world begins to lighten again.
~~~Wishing you a magical December day and a wonderful week.~~~
