My Birthday

Just a few shots from my birthday last Sunday. It was a great day. From my family there were cards, presents, and the gift of time - relaxing, listening, reading, and knitting on the couch.
In the afternoon there were cookies to bake and a pot of soup to prepare for a house full of friends.
The potluck supper with friends was so good. A couple months ago Damien wrote about the food culture we've experienced since moving to Québec. My birthday was no different. Sharing meals with people here is fun and we do it often.
I have a couple more photo heavy posts planned this week with more of the story behind some of my birthday gifts, that gorgeous bird feeder for one.
