Weekend Edition ~ Ready, Set...

There's a general vibe in my world these days - in my reading, living and connecting. A readiness for new things. It's that time of year.

The readiness to spring clean, to dream, to do something. Most of today's links tie into that somehow.

Inspiring Internet

• Read Alouds. We love read alouds also.
• Honey Butter Lotion. My friend Spring makes some lotion and shares her recipes with us.
• Planning for Success. Another post from Spring. I'm not sure how she managed to make one of those fancy worksheets for her planner but I think it's cool.
• 4 Ways to Take the Drudgery Out of Motherhood. Less drudgery, especially in March, is a good thing.
• 7 :: March. Heather is one of my favorite bloggers. I love all her posts. At the end of this post she shares a gorgeous video on living a long life - simplicity, work & enjoyment. It will warm your spirit.
• Juggling. I get this.
• So What's it Like to Have a Book Published? An interesting read for those of who share our words with the world.
• But if you eat so healthy, why are your children so sick right now!? My sis-in-law bears her soul on her family's food journey. Raising children (and navigating how we're supposed to feed and educate them) in today's world is not for the faint of heart.
• Clean House 1-2-3. I love Kyce's cleaning wisdom. If you're in a season of spring cleaning with littles this is a good read.
• The Servant. We support a mission in Costa Rica and one day we hope to take our kids there to work in the community for a short term project. I wonder "what do I have to give?" This post answers that. In fact, it answers what do we have to give wherever we are. We give ourselves.
• Self Care: My (imperfect) 10 Step Plan. I'm working on number 6 right now - reading for pleasure. Ah.. that feels good.
• Foot Love. Touch is important. Thanks Kyndale for reminding me.

• In Which I Want to Turn My Life Upside Down. I love Sarah's blog (I've said this many times). Oh honey, I get it. I'm leaning into my own seasonal discomfort right now. It's called March (smile).
