Color where we can find it

It's snowing right now (for real), with the promise of freezing rain later today. Oh goody.

By the 10th of April I'm no longer inspired to photograph snowstorms. What was cozy in mid-December  is just "ugh, not again!" past Easter weekend.

I am desperate for color - bright red, orange, and yellow. Green leaves are the stuff of art and imagination in this world of white, blue and grey.

We're holding out hope for spring in these parts. And appreciating color and sparkle where we find it.

Still lots of snow here too. Its rain/sleet mix this morning. We're starting to see some parts of rooftops! And right next to the bricks on the south side, the snow is gone and a tulip is coming up!

hehehe... and I was thinking, 'wow, a day in April that requires a light jacket!' The joys of central Texas. its all green here, blue bonnets blooming, etc. But come July and August, you will be glad for the later spring, when we are living through the 100th day of over 100' (well, that happened last year, hopefully not this year).

btw, thought I'd mention... I can't comment when on the tablet, something about java. I have to be on the laptop. And you know life with littles, sometimes the tablet is all I get in a day.

Hoping to get myself back into blogging soon... its a love-hate relationship that I've been avoiding.

What is on the floor beside your daughter with red hair?!! :)

Also, I put up bright green curtains today for more colour! Lots of snow and ice melting today in NS, though.

Sue, that's wig hair. In that photo, what you don't see, is that Celine is trimming the wig that Brienn is wearing. It's Celine's cosplay wig for C2E2.
